Craftsman Crate is our answer to a world that has very little to offer hands-on young people.
Our own teens came to us, telling us that there were absolutely no hands-on craft- or skill-based kits for older guys. We went out looking and found out they were right! We couldn’t find a thing, so we got together with our teen and adult kids and started developing some. We sold the first ones here on RaisingRealMen.com and people loved them, but they told us they wanted us to turn it into a subscription box service, so they could just have a new one delivered every month and keep their guys happy.

This subscription includes shipping to Canada in a single monthly fee! We made a deal for better shipping rates, and we are passing that discount straight on to you!

For gifts, we are glad to include a card with a message or end a subscription at a certain time if you tell us in the notes on checkout. We also provide a downloadable card for your own use! Please note, we have no control over how long Canadian customs takes. Sometimes it’s just a day, sometimes a week or even longer.
Normally, crates ship between the 10th and 20th of each month. If you subscribe after the 9th (except in December), your first box will likely be scheduled in the next month’s shipment.

We loved our first crate – a footstool kit. My 13-yr old could do it with parental guidance, and although some of the weaving could have been tighter (if he was stronger it would be), it still looks great! The stool frame had to be put together, the reed had to be dyed, and the reed had to be woven. He was proud of what he could accomplish, he’s been using it, and is looking forward to the next one! As a parent, I’m so glad I found a subscription that is useful and teaches real life skills. Thank you!
