What is “Ranger Mike”? The Ranger Mike DVDs are video adventures for kids in the 6-12 years old range. Our friend, Mike Snavely produced them in response to parents who asked if there was anything available anywhere that would counter TV programs with subtle and not-so-subtle ideas that run counter to the Bible’s teachings. Christian parents wanted Bible-based programs their kids would love, like those with animals and things related to the outdoors.
Mike Snavely not only grew up in South Africa and had many experiences with nature, but he also worked for the South African National Parks Service in Kruger National Park. This earned him the nickname, “Ranger Mike”.
These video episodes are each designed to be:

Danger in Dry Gulch

Ranger Mike had better be careful! He’s in Dry Gulch, and area that doesn’t get much rain, but when it does, it can be very dangerous because of flash floods! Look! What’s that coming around the corner?!
The Southwestern United States is well known, not only for the desert, but also for the stark beauty of the mountains. See what it’s like to wade up a river between solid rock walls, and climb along dangerous cliffs! On this adventure, you’ll also discover some incredibly designed creatures, especially interesting things about their feet!
But, the mountains themselves hold a special secret! If you stop to look at them, you’ll notice some very obvious features that reveal how they got there. And it’s a scary story, too! Join Ranger Mike as he leads us on a special quest showing that the Bible’s account of a huge flood is actually true! Watch out for “LEVEL THREE”, though! It doesn’t want you to know the truth!
