One Year Subscription to My Audio School

    My oldest son enjoys listening to dramas. i give him ear phones and let him on the computer. I am thinking of ways to add this to schooling. He enjoys himself and remembers so well what he heard.

    For 3 decades we have been listening to audio books with our children. For three of our precious cherubs these audio books have been a “medical prescription” to help them learn to work through auditory processing disorder.

    My 9 year old son LOVES audiobooks! He has been known to tote the cd player from room to room while doing his chores, bring it in the car, set it on the table during meals…all because he doesn’t want to stop listening! He is an auditory learner, I suppose, because he can retain mountains of information he gleans from listening to audiobooks.

    We love audiobooks ~ we use them for a couple of reasons. 1. it gives a different teaching path to break up textbooks and 2. We love to play audiobooks while we play brain games. It helps us both focus more.
